School Contract Services

Sound Speech Therapy provides contract speech therapy services with a specialty in Childhood Apraxia of Speech/motor speech disorders as well as AAC. We serve schools throughout the State of New Hampshire.

We are a small company focused on filling the various needs of preschool through high-school age students. Sound Speech Therapy offers schools throughout New Hampshire personalized services and advanced expertise. 

We have experience working with students of all ages and abilities. In addition to therapy, we are skilled in performing comprehensive, dynamic, and collaborative assessments to guide recommendations and therapy plans.

Our therapists have experience with:

  • Case management

  • Leading IEP meetings

  • Navigating the IEE process

  • Writing the IEPs from start to finish

  • Performing comprehensive evaluations and writing reports

  • Completing AAC evaluations

  • Completing motor speech evaluations

  • Providing services for children with complex communication needs (AAC, Autism, Apraxia)

  • Providing staff training and in-services on working with children with complex communication needs-AAC and CAS

  • Providing push-in and/or pull-out services

  • Professional development on Childhood Apraxia of Speech, AAC, and Early Literacy Skills

Melissa is an experienced pediatric speech therapist and owner of Sound Speech Therapy. She is a collaborative therapist with advanced training and experience in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and AAC. Today, she provides contract speech therapy services to meet the needs of schools throughout New Hampshire.
